Bio

Alisha Ali is a Greater Manchester-based, contemporary artist whose work explores her place in the world through an autobiographical lens. Working primarily with paint and film, she creates pieces that examine what it means to be human. 

 

Alisha has a background in fine arts, from the University of Greater Manchester and Pendleton College, and has exhibited within said institutions. Recent projects include an investigation into memory, and contemplating on a childhood that may never have existed.

 

Influenced by personal experience, culture, and the world around her, Alisha works to connect with people through immersive experiences.
